How to Book a practical driving test
To apply for your practical driving test, you must first have passed your theory test.
To book your practical driving test visit www.gov.uk/book-driving-test or alternatively you can book by phone on 0300 200 1122.
You can book a test up to 24 weeks in the future. There is no waiting list or cancellation list.
The current Weekday charge applied by the DVSA (Driving Vehicle Standards Agency) is £62
The current charge for Evenings (from 4:30pm) Weekends and Bank Holidays is £75
How to Amend a practical driving test
If you need to change your driving test date or centre, visit www.gov.uk/change-driving-test
You will need to provide the DVSA with at least 10-working days notice to avoid being charged again for a test.
How to Cancel a practical driving test
If you need to cancel your practical driving test, visit www.gov.uk/cancel-driving-test
To be considered for a refund you must provide the DVSA with at least 10-working days notice.
