Joining fees and projected income

No joining fee or security deposits

There are no start-up fees or security deposits when joining NoGears. We generate our income through long-term ADI partnerships. Indeed, as part of our start up support we offer free pupil introductions, and a subsidised franchise fee during the pupil build up stage.

A franchise that responds to your needs

Clearly, the amount you will earn is dependent on the number of hours you wish to work. Some of our ADI's choose to only offer weekday lessons, while some offer the flexibility of additional weekend or evening lessons. The hours you work are entirely up to you, we just ask that you keep us updated.

Income projection

Our current ADI's operate between an hourly rate of £32 to £40, with an average rate of £36. This means an ADI completing 30 teaching hours a week can typically expect to earn a gross income of £1,080 a week.

Fully researched areas to ensure ongoing success

Prior to awarding a franchise, we will always ensure the postal districts allocated match or exceed our operating requirements. This is achieved by utilising advanced drive-time and demographic software to establish an areas suitability for a NoGears franchise.

Responsible franchise management

Our industry has a reputation for abusing the franchise model by taking on too many ADI's without any regard as to whether they generate enough pupils to keep them busy. We have a business process which not only monitors how many pupils we pass to each franchise but also, just as importantly, how many pupils we have to add to our waiting lists or simply turn away, where we do not have the capacity to satisfy demand. This means we can establish very accurately when it is appropriate to open a new franchise without damaging the income of an existing franchise.

No long term contracts

We don't believe in long term contracts. Our franchise agreement is a 12 week rolling agreement that only requires a 12 week notice of cancellation for either party. We believe that if we keep our franchises busy they will not want to go anywhere else. It's a pragmatic but simple approach to maintaining a good business relationship with our franchises.
