Ruth - Derby Franchise
Ruth has been an ADI for the last 13 years and joined No Gears in August 2017. She had taken on various manual franchises over the years but had varying levels of success and eventually decided to become an independent ADI. She had always had an interest in teaching people with learning disabilities to drive and decided that automatic seemed the right way to achieve this. A Google search found No Gears.
"The franchise opportunity looked very flexible with a graduated introduction so that I could continue teaching in my manual car and gradually phase in automatic lessons. Also I thought that the name was one that would be easily noticed and remembered by potential customers. The franchise subsidy scheme was extremely important as I was already running a manual teaching car so the free automatic car during the initial build up phase made a big difference. It enabled me to phase in my automatic pupils until I was earning enough money to pay my automatic franchise fee."
"Communication and support from the office is much better than previously experienced with other driving schools. The franchise fees are very reasonable and I get a plentiful supply of pupils. Joining No Gears was the best decision I have made in a long time. I just wish that I had done it sooner. I would have no hesitation in recommending No Gears to anyone thinking of taking up a franchise with them."
